About

Welcome to Northern Lights Christmas Tree Farm, located 15 minutes from town but a lifestyle back in time. Of our 162 acres, approximately 80 are devoted to Christmas trees. The rest are fields and pasture, farm houses, outbuildings, woods, and 1/2 mile of waterfront property on the Middle Fork of the Willamette River. This setting offers many diverse opportunities to experience farming, "agritainment," and "agritourism." And don't miss our ever-popular (and family friendly) corn maze during Colonial Harvest Days!

Farming Practices

We use organic soil amendments, crop rotations, and cover crops, and we practice integrated pest management. We use synthetic fertilizers and pesticides as needed, although do not spray the edible portion. Our animals are not confined. In addition to seasonal pasture, they are fed alfalfa, haylage, and silage from our corn maze. Our brood herds eat silage, but not our grass-fed market steers.
