Krugers Farm Market

17100 NW Sauvie Island Road, Portland, OR, 97231

About

Kruger’s Farm opened on Sauvie Island in 1999 assuming the operation of a family farm that had been on the property for a generation. Having never farmed before, tackling the learning curve on farming was huge challenge. We ended up shrinking the farming footprint to under 150 acres and growing only product we are able to sell in our own stores.

We grow the tastiest produce around, harvesting it early each morning, and rushing it directly into our farm store. More flavorful and nutritious because we grow it ourselves and pick it at the peak of freshness. Look for our “FROM OUR FARM” signs in our market for fruits and vegetables grown exclusively for our store.

After 19 years, our farm is now a Northwest landmark. Famous for beautiful u-cut flowers, fresh u-pick berries, pickling cucumbers and pumpkin fields, as well as events like our Thursday concerts, Farm to Plate Dinners, Birthday Parties, School Tours and Corn Maze.

VISIT THE FARM AND ENJOY A PICNIC UNDER OUR GRAND OAK TREE. WALK THE FARM AND WATCH US GROW…

Welcome letter from Don
"I’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO FARM"

As a child, I spent my summers on my grandfather’s avocado ranch and helped him work the orchards. I love watching plants grow, harvesting the bounty, and sitting down to a delicious meal. I’m excited about sharing this experience with my customers.

On our Sauvie Island Farm, we grow a wide-variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs. They are picked fresh each day and delivered directly to my farm and city markets each morning.

The farm is beautiful and I want to invite everyone to visit us there. Please feel free to walk the farm, ask questions, sample product directly from the field or have a picnic under our 300-year-old oak tree.

I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE!
