About
Herrick Farms is a fresh market produce stand east of Spingfield, Oregon on Highway 126 at Walterville, Oregon. We open in May with flowers and then other fruits and vegetables through the season. We offer pumpkin patch rides and field trips in October. Herrick Farms was established in 1980 by Vernon and Paula Herrick. They employ a small crew during the busy season, but the majority of the farm is worked by the family, including their son J.R.

Farming Practices
We strongly emphasize sustainable practices. We use cover crops, crop rotation, and a minimal amount of chemical spray on a small percentage of our produce when needed. Our animals are not confined. We practice seasonal pasturing and use feed grown on our farm.
